What I learned from doing my first game jam

When I first wanted to get into gamedev, I was working 50 hours a week at a factory that was slowly killing me. Well I left that job in December so now I have the energy to do what I actually want to do. So I entered the Brackeys Jam!

Boy howdy, I learned a lot doing this jam. Finally got somewhat competent at using Blender, learned how to use normal maps properly, learned how the Godot AssetLib works (and yoinked a dialogue manager by the wonderful Nathan Hoad)... I did so much learning this week. I am grateful for the chance to do something like this, no matter how small my contribution may have been. I can't wait to do more jams!
